"I think there is more than one dream job. I've been lucky in that my role in the company didn't previously exist, so I've had the opportunity to really carve out a role I enjoy."
I got into Marketing through persistence, hope and a bit of luck. I moved here after discovering that if I ever wanted to do something remotely interesting in art and/or fashion, it needed to be in London. I sent a LOT of emails, spoke to anyone who would listen, gained experience and finally I got my foot in the door.
The people. It's mad to think that typically, you spend more time with your work colleagues than with friends and family... so it's important to get on with each other!
I think there is more than one dream job. I've been lucky in that my role in the company didn't previously exist, so I've had the opportunity to really carve out a role I enjoy... which essentially means anything to do with Asia!
My UNIQUE black velvet dungarees. They are really versatile and always get noticed.
Not to my face... but I've definitely been in the company of people who might want to doubt, sometimes you can just sense it. It just makes me work harder though.

Launching the brand in China. Well firstly even getting to Beijing... it hadn't occurred to me I needed a visa, so I ended up going via Hong Kong to remedy the situation and nearly missed the whole thing. Thankfully I made it, and in a haze of jet lag and adrenaline ended up on stage addressing 400 people (Ni hao) and officially announcing our first online partnership to the masses. And with one in five of the world's population living in China, the masses is pretty massive. Certainly a stand out career moment for me
Touche éclat does its best.
Everyone has different experiences but, Female colleagues, Equal pay, Ourselves, we can be our harshest critics.

1) Graft, don't think you're too precious to get stuck in 2) Be positive, people like nice people... and positivity attracts more of the good stuff 3) Have an opinion and take others on board
I have many, but to name a few... my Mama, Claudia Winkleman, Meryl Streep, Katharine Ross and Victoria Beckham.
It's all about interiors for me at the moment as we're on the house hunt - my best pal just treated me to a subscription to Living Etc.
My first nail shoot. It was both terrifying and exhilarating as it was a new venture for me. And now I'm hooked, can't stop/won't stop painting.
I have worked with a lot of inspiring and strong women who have managed both.
I paint nails. I love being creative and meeting new people, I get to hear lots of gossip, it's pretty sociable. When I'm at home working on new designs I completely zone out, I find it to be very therapeutic.
