THREE THINSG TO REMEMBER WHEN LAUNCHING A BRAND…
I admire anyone looking at setting up their own brand, and in today’s connected world it couldn’t be a better breeding ground for new ideas and new brands to have their time!
I’ve pulled together three key things to keep in mind if you’re looking at starting your own brand:
- Research your market. Don’t think you’re the first one to ever create this product, it’s highly unlikely you’re about to launch anything which is truly new. However that doesn’t mean you can’t be different. Just think about the HOW?
- Know your customer. Like really get to know your customer. Don’t just say to yourself your product speaks to everyone, as it’s highly unlikely it doesn’t/ it won’t. Finding your tribe is essential and listening to feedback. Customers don’t always know what they want until they see it, so stop guessing and get your product out to your target audience for some feedback – don’t be scared!
- Create a strong brand DNA. It’s so important for your brand to have a soul if you want customers to connect. Authenticity and transparency are both vital.
Starting a brand should be the fun part, so don’t give up but spend time getting the basics right.
Go for it!
